Counter Bullying Task Force of Southern Utah

Patriot Jiu-Jitsu is a community of athletes with the goal of improving themselves in order to better serve the community. As a lifelong Martial Artist and United States Marine Corps combat veteran and Amphibious Raider, Founder and Coach Dwight Hargett, has remained committed to serving others in his community, even after ending his active military service. He does this through his Kickboxing and Jiu Jitsu classes, as well as his Counter Bullying and Self Defense programs for kids, teens and adult groups across Southern Utah.

We realize each student’s journey is a little different.

So the Patriot Jiu Jitsu staff always aims to get to know the mission of each student better. Whether your journey is one of self defense, learning the sport of Jiu-Jitsu, or getting in the best shape of your life mentally and physically; our goal is to help students develop their own personal Jiu-Jitsu experience based on their goals, strengths and limitations.

Our goal is to share our Jiu-Jitsu in a way that brings out the love for Martial Arts in you. From our 4 year old kids to our 70 year old students; each martial artist will have their own obstacles and their own solutions to overcoming them. Learning to overcome these obstacles will help our students individually develop their problem solving skills, build teamwork, learn respect, courage and discipline.
